Where should I book accommodation?

We recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible to secure an affordable option in the city center. Galway is a small city with many events on in August.

The shuttle bus will pick players up in the city center at the bus stop outside Kinlay Hostel in Eyre Square and then make a quick stop to grab more players at the bus station on Headford Road across from Dunnes.

Where are the parties?

🍻 Friday night at 9pm join us at The Skeff Bar on Eyre Square! You'll find us upstairs when you arrive - just follow the Tribal Gathering flags!

🌈 Starting 8pm on Saturday night, head to the West Side of Galway (what we'd argue is the best side). You'll enter the famous Monroe's pub from the Monroe's Live side door to access our exclusive party area.

🐬 Sunday join us for a post-tournament dip at the famous Blackrock Diving Tower, and a few drinks and snacks to follow at The Oslo in the seaside Salthill village.

Is there an option to attend as a guest?

Yes! If you'd like to attend as a guest and you're travelling with a team attending the tournament, contact us at tribalgatheringgalway@gmail.com to let us know.

The €65 guest fee includes:

How much is the player fee, and what's included?

The €95 player fees includes:

🥐 A breakfast buffet in the clubhouse at the pitches

🍛 Delicious and nutritious hot lunches at the pitches on Saturday and Sunday

🚌 Transportation between the city centre and the pitches

🍻 A Friday night welcome party, Saturday night exclusive gathering in Galway city center, and a Sunday night wind down in Salthill

🎁 Team and player gifts to remind you of the good times after you've head home

When do I owe what?

March 31 - Deposit of €250 is due by March 31st. We will send teams details on how to pay before hand, and will follow up with a receipt once we've received the deposit.

May 27 - No money due, but we will ask you to confirm your final player count.

June 10 - Remaining balance due.

What is your drop out policy?

  • Team drops out out by May 13 - We can offer 100% refund on deposit.
  • Team drops out between May 13 and July 1 - We can offer 50% refund on deposit.

We will ask teams to confirm player count by May 27

  • Player count reduced before July 1 - We can offer a full refund of player fee, minus deposit.
  • Player count reduced after July 1 - We can offer a full refund of player fee, minus deposit and player gift cost.
